Hi West Torrance Little League Families,

We are excited to kick off one of the most fun and important events of the season — ourWTLL Hit-A-Thon, taking placeSunday, April 19! (This is the same day as Team Photos)

The Hit-A-Thon isour league’s biggest fundraiser of the yearand plays a major role in helping us maintain and improve our fields and facilities. Funds raised this season will go directly towardfield maintenance and much-needed improvements, withsun shades and bleachersat the top of our list to make the experience even better for our players and families.

For the families that have not had the opportunity to participate in our hit a thon in the past here is a quick break down of the event:

Each participant gets 10 swings, each hit is assigned a point value, the player with the most points advances from team to Division finals! Each Division will have a hit-off with the winners from each team in that Division. This is a fun day down at the fields for everyone cheering on their friends!

Each player should have received a link to their personal fundraising page.Once you receive it, please share it far and wide! Send it to friends and family, post it on social media, and get creative. We love seeing the kids make fun videos asking for support — be sure to tag WTLL so we can share them!

How It Works

• Each player mustraise a minimum of $30 to participate
• Share your fundraising link and collect pledges from supporters. HINT: Post on your social media to reach friends & family outside of the area.
• Players will participate in the Hit-A-Thon onApril 19

• Raise $275 or moreand receive apersonalized WTLL Hit-A-Thon metal sport top water bottle
• Top fundraising team in each divisionwins apizza party
• Teams with 100% participation Coach will get a personalized WTLL Hit-A-Thon metal sport top water bottle.
• Top fundraising team overall wins a prize for everyone
• Top individual fundraiserwins a trophy+ a Free Registration in a Future WTLL Season
• Each Division's Hit-A-Thon batting champ will receive trophies
• Plus more prizes during the event for hitting targets & other surprises

Most importantly, this event is afun day for the kids and a great way for our community to support the league.
