Dear WTLL Families,
 
The WTLL Board of Directors is excited to kick off our 2026 Spring Season over the coming weeks! Our first major event of the year is Spring Player Assessments, taking place this Saturday, January 10, at Entradero Park, Field 4.
 
Please note: Player assessments are only for Farm, Minor, and Major Baseball divisions.
T-Ball and Rookie Baseball players do not attend assessments.
 
All teams will be formed during the week of January 19, with practices beginning around February 1. We can’t wait to see everyone out on the fields!
 
Assessment Format
Players will rotate through demonstrations of the following five skills:
Outfield Skills – Fly balls and throws back into the infield
Infield Skills – Ground balls and throws to first base
Pitching
Hitting – 5 hittable pitches
Speed – After the 5th pitched ball, batter will run to 2nd base
 
Equipment Needed
Each player should bring the following:
Glove
Bat
Helmet
Protective cup (boys)
Cleats (recommended, not required)

Location & Check-In
Entradero Park – Field 4
Please use the Halison entrance and follow the main road to the north side of the park. Parking is available adjacent to the outfield fence or farther along the road towards the Towers exit. 
 
Families should plan to arrive early for check in before their assigned time slot (based on the first letter of the player’s last name). Players will be able to warm up in the designated area on Field 5.
 
At check-in, players will receive:
A player number
Instructions on where to go
